We had a fantastic standard of performances for YMF over the weekend 23-25 June 2023 and a record number of entries.

Special Awards
The Florence Murray awards for Most Promising Performer on Piano went to Otis Prescott-Mason and Joshua Langford.
The Selah Music awards for Most Promising Performer on another instrument went to Edgar Watson and Samuel Yuan.
The NZ Music Trust awards for Best Performance of a Chinese work went to Christina Chen and Haoyuan Gu.
And the Emerging Young Composer award was awarded to Sammie Leck.
