Sonata Celebration
This year’s Judith Clark Sonata Celebration is on the weekend of 19-20 September.
Advanced students of Wellington Branch IRMT members are invited to perform any or all movements of a sonata (or sonatina) of their choice. The event is run in three classes: Junior, Senior and Tertiary. Students may perform on any instrument and may also enter duets/duos. This year we are excited to welcome Kinga Krupa as our adjudicator. All performers receive an adjudicator’s report, however only performances of whole sonatas (or sonatinas) will be eligible for prizes. One movement sonatas must be substantial and multi-sectional to be considered eligible.

There are no door charges if you wish to come and listen.
Note the entrance to this event is via the Gate 7 entry to the NZSM at the University of Victoria, as the upper door is locked.
